I loved every word of this book. I rode in a clinic with Jim Wofford about 40 years ago when I was a student at Meredith Manor. In about 10 minutes, he fixed a major position issue I had struggled with for months. He is an amazing man. This story shares the development of eventing and the process of becoming an Olympic level rider. He shares his failures and self doubt with complete honesty. I bought another copy for a friend, as I didn't want to share mine. Lots of great quotes to apply to life in general. A "must own your own copy" type of book. Well done Mr. Wofford.
